Requirements

Assembly Tech
Position Summary
Hours are 6-2:30pm Monday- Friday. Overtime often required Must have some demonstrated mechanical or manufacturing assembly experience.
The Assembly Technician provides mechanical and trim assembly on base and specialized automotive equipment and other engineered products. This position is responsible for lay out, build, inspection, repair, and modification of production components, equipment, and systems.
Automotive trim assembly experience is a plus.
Duties/Essential Functions
- Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, schematics, work orders, or reports. * Inspect assemblies and installed components to process specifications. * Review work activities with management. * Working knowledge of general manufacturing hand tools, including air and electric power tools. * Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- High school diploma or its equivalent (GED) required. Senior Manufacturing Engineer
JOB SUMMARY:
Plan, direct and coordinate manufacturing engineering processes in a manufacturing plant.
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will assist the VP of Operations through direct engagement with both manufacturing and production teams in enhancing manufacturing efficiencies in all phases of production processes, including the following key elements:
ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Manages resources and assignments, drives the team on a daily basis
- Enforces engineering disciplines, processes and procedures
- Work on optimization of manufacturing process & design and modify fixtures - identify ways to reduce production costs through recommendations - i.e. new process equipment, equipment justification to improve performance
- Complete time studies for continuous improvement.
- Analyze, organize, implement and maintain production process flow of existing processes. Perform research, design and development of manufacturing processes, including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment* Develop best practices, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods for assembly, fabrication and cutting departments. Train employees in these methods.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing systems - investigate operational problems affecting production and recommend solutions
- Update or write manufacturing work instructions, workmanship standards and process documents for existing or new assemblies and fabrication using processes in place. Ensure they are followed and work closely with the Quality Department.
- Manage manufacturing documentation required for product manufacturing i.e. revise drawing, BOM, accurate work instructions, workmanship standards (which means to present the requirements for quality and consistency in the clearest practical manner) and process procedures.
- Prepare quotations for labor, tooling and equipment
- Develop weld and assembly jigs and fixturing.
- Develop schedules for assembly, fabrication and cutting departments.
- Lead Kaizen events in various manufacturing areas.
- Expert with LEAN concepts and operations.
- Estimate production times, staffing requirements and related costs to provide information for management decisions. Research and develop project cost.
- Support estimating department with daily requests.
- Write capital expenditure requests and justification.
- Support Engineering Order process meetings and implementation through Manufacturing Change Order Process.
- Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements and workflow. Design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.* Confer with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.* Confer with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts and evaluate products according to specifications
- and quality standards. Support production supply requirements (supplies, tools, tool repair, etc.).
- Confer with management, engineering and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules and other considerations to facilitate production
- processes. Work closely with Production Manager and supervisors to support the goals of the company.
- Will apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
- Identify and report on issues or related problems and potential risks, and recommend risk-mitigation
- Work independently, under general guidelines set by the VP of Operations

Job Description
Ultra Armoring & Defense is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Contract Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment to coordinate federal and DOD contract management activities from proposal to execution. This expertise will allow for developing and showcasing the ability to strategically evaluate business opportunities, demonstrate thought leadership in the analysis and advisement of senior management and recognize contracting issues that need to be elevated.
This position will be responsible for developing, preparing and presenting terms and conditions of proposals related to the award of contracts. Uses working knowledge of various US Federal Government contract types and can work independently. Provides reports based on information collected such as market surveys and solicitations. Key Accountabilities:
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) must include contract lifecycle (pre-award, post-award, policy and closeout) experience using Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)Part 15 and SAP procedures, negotiating unique contract Terms & Conditions, using a variety of contract types such as; fixed price, cost plus fixed fee, IDIQ, requirements, time and material, and agreements

- Experience preparing the requisite supporting documentation from requirement generation through contract award for sole source and competitive procurements. Post award experience in the administration of terms & conditions negotiating change orders, preparation of contract modifications, evaluation of performance, contract termination, and contract closeout.
- Experience in performing source selections, cost or price analysis, negotiations, and preparation of related contract documentation in accordance with directives and policies
- In a team environment, to review draft documents and assist customers to the extent necessary to produce unassailable acquisition strategies, contractible requirements, and sound independent government cost estimates (IGCE).
- Develop, prepare and present terms and conditions in proposals and Requests For Quotes (RFQ) related to Requests for Information (RFI), Sources Sought (SS) and the award of contracts
- Direct coordination with government contracting officers, Program Managers (PMs) and procurement officials regarding contract actions and requirements
- Participate in negotiating, awarding and administering contracts federal and commercial, or the analysis of procurement policies and procedures
- Advise and provide documentation to be contained in solicitation packages and review for completeness
- Review funding documents for completeness and accuracy with respect to contract terms and conditions
- Perform contract and proposal related research on topics and matters contained within the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and prepare position papers along with interpretive opinion.
- Participate in procurement management reviews and contract requirements, terms and conditions as well as FAR Flow Down Clauses supporting prime or subcontracting actions. Provide cradle-to-grave contract support, such as conducting market research, preparing solicitation documentation (pre and post award), reviewing proposals for compliance, performing cost/price evaluations, assisting with negotiating positions, reviewing and processing invoices
- Assist with Pre and Post award conferences
- Develop positions on claims and protests related to contracts
- Research statistical data and market research documentation to prepare and disseminate various types of requests for information
- Input data into federal government sites
- Travel may be required to attend work-related conferences, meetings or training functions
